Sunday Salmon Loaf

Tonight for dinner we had salmon loaf (Grandma Adair's recipe) with cheesey potatoes and Uncle Kevin Beans. It must have been pretty good because everyone sat right up and ate it. Riley kept us posted on who was winning the different contests: "I win the green bean contest!" "Camden wins the whole dinner gone contest!" etc. Even Sidney thought it was pretty good. She sat up and ate her dinner with a fork! After dinner we read books and had fun. Sidney was brave and even walked around a little bit. We had a fun evening.

Earlier today I went to fast meeting in the 8th ward with Richard. We thought we might get a new bishopric counselor today because Bro. Loveless was sustained to the Stake High Council last week. But no new counselor today. I left after that meeting and went to fast meeting at the MTC. I didn't play the piano today because Elder Collins did, and he did a pretty good job. I'm glad he did so that he can build up his confidence in playing. At the MTC is where he needs to get his practice. I hope he keeps playing after he leaves for the mission field next week. In testimony meeting all three Elder McAllisters bore their testimonies. I just think that's kind of interesting to have three Elder McAllisters at the same time plus Elders McCollum and McNinch. There's Elder McElvain, too, but he says his name Mackelvain.

Last evening Steven and I went in to BYU for the College Basketball Night with the donors to the college. We had dinner at the Bean Museum and it was very good: Smoked turkey, Baron of Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Carrots, Salad, Rolls and Pie for dessert. Steven and I had the multi-berry pie that had big strawberries in it. It was very tasty! After dinner we went to the game: BYU vs. Air Force. We left shortly after halftime when BYU was over 30 points ahead. The final score ended up being BYU 76 and Air Force 57.
