Today Steven and I dropped Richard off at the temple and then went to look at the house we saw and liked the other day. I had made an appointment with the lady to come see it at 4:15. She was very nice and took us through the house. I think I liked it better than Dad did, but neither one of us liked it enough to ever think about giving up our house here to move there. One thing about house looking is that it makes where you live seem even better than before, and it makes you appreciate what a nice house you have. That's how we feel, anyway.
On our way home, after going to Macey's, we stopped in to see the Barretts. Camden and Riley were happy and excited to us. They wanted to show us their new books and tell us more about their American Girl dolls. Sidney, however, was very suspicious. She must have thought that since we were there, her mom and dad must be going somewhere. But then, as we were leaving, she realized that her mom and dad weren't going anywhere; so she wanted me to pick her up, which I did, and then she gave me a nice love. What cute, funny girls!

Driving Around American Fork
Today after dropping Richard off, Steven and I decided to head north of the temple and drive around a few neighborhoods just to see what was out there in the way of houses for sale. We've often thought it would be nice to live in American Fork because of the proximity to the temple; but the prices over there have always seemed high, plus we love our house here, so we haven't looked around over there for awhile. But today we just decided to drive around, and we actually saw a couple of nice houses for sale which are located not too far from the temple. One of the houses we really liked a lot, and it turned out to be right next door to Elder Jay Jensen's house. We knew because he was out on his four-wheeler moving snow around. So we stopped and talked to him. That was okay because he's from Springville and he knows Grandpa T. and Dad. So we had a very nice visit with him and he told us what a great neighborhood it is and everything. I don't know if anything will come of our adventure--we'll just have to see.
After our house looking, we came home and got some things done around here; then we went back over to the temple for ward temple night. We were supposed to meet in the chapel for the 5:30 session, so we arranged for Richard to meet us in there after he got off work at 5:00. But it turned out, things were to busy for him to stop at 5:00, so we had to go on the session without him and he worked until 7:00. Most of the people from the ward who were expecting to go on the 5:30 session weren't able to either because it was so crowded. Anyway, we had a nice time participating in the 5:30 session. We met up with Richard later and came along home. We're looking forward to having Dad's Bday dinner here tomorrow evening with the Barretts.
