Happy Valentines Day! It was a fun day with heart-shaped pizzas and Valentines Day wishes. I went over to the Barretts at lunch time and took two heart-shaped pizzas from Papa Murphey's to bake, one cheese and one pepperoni. The little girls were excited about the pizza, their Valentines, cookies, and other treats. I took some little boxes I had decorated that had some cute socks and a bracelet inside for Camden and Riley. Sidney looked at me like, "Where's mine?" She was happy that I had one for her too. Instead of a bracelet she got a little stuffed dog that says "I love you" when you squeeze his paw. Sidney was sitting in her chair and saying, "I love you." Camden said, "You did a great job decorating these boxes, Grandma." After lunch we decorated some delicious sugar cookies that Lindy had made. Yummy. I decorated some to take home to Richard and Grampa. I picked up a heart-shaped pizza at 5-buck pizza for Richard's Valentine lunch--he likes more things on his pizza than just pepperoni and/or cheese. Steven and I went for an early dinner to El Azetca. We thought we might need to go early to beat the Valentines Day crowds, but there was hardly anyone there. Steven said it was the fewest number of people he had ever seen at El Azetca. I told him that maybe Valentine diners were going somewhere more "romantic" for Valentines Day; but El Azteca was just fine for us. We love their cheese enchiladas. Now we're going to watch "Princess Bride." That's fun for Valentines Day. We hope everyone else has had a nice Valentines Day. When Steven heard the news about the shootings at Northern Illinois University this afternoon, he wondered if we should call Tiff and talk to her about it. But I thought it might be better to not spoil her V day activities. What a tragedy that was! We were sorry to hear about it.
Thanks everyone for your fun blog pictures and Valentines Day wishes. We love all of you, too.
