Yesterday (Wednesday) was a good day to stay in and get Christmas put away (finally). We got about nine inches of snow during the night, so Steven had to do a lot of shovelling to even get out of the driveway! And then it kept snowing all morning to add to the snow of the night before. Bro. Sanders came over in the afternoon and shovelled the driveway and sidewalk just as I was getting ready to go out and do it. That was nice of him! Richard and I made it over to AF without any problems because the streets had been cleared off by 3:30. After dropping him off, I went to Macy's for a few groceries, then I came home and did some laundry and more putting things away while Steven was at the MTC greeting five new elders and two new sisters. So I got a bunch of stuff done. Then this morning, at 2:00 a.m., the phone rang--waking us up, of course. That's always scary that time of night. It turned out to be one of the new elders who had just arrived last night saying he needed to talk to Pres. Taylor. Steven told him he'd be at the MTC to talk to him in the morning (this morning), so he left at 7:00 a.m. to go to the MTC. I hope everything's all right.
Now I'm off to my hair appointment this morning, and Curves this afternoon. Good thing it's not snowing any more or I might have just wanted to stay inside!
