Tiffany's Engaged!

Today turned out to be an eventful day because Tiffany and Greg got formally engaged. The day started out simply enough--Greg came by and he and Tiff went with his mom and brother Scott to do some shoe shopping and have lunch. When Tiff came back, she had a little time to herself to get a few things packed. I was busy trying to get her laundry done and ready for packing because I knew she was a little too occupied to worry about such things. Greg came by at 3:45 to pick her up for an early dinner in Salt Lake; the location was a surprise. Could something be up? I wondered. Sure enough. When they came back, Tiffany was sporting a new addition to her left hand: a beautiful diamond ring which Greg had presented to her by the Salt Lake Temple after their dinner at The Roof restaurant in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. There were even fireworks going off over the Capitol Building in comemoration of the rededication of the building earlier in the day. If Greg had ordered the fireworks it couldn't have turned out any better for them. So when they came home we took some pictures of them and the ring and enjoyed the moment. We wish them well as they embark on this new phase of their relationship. Tiffany still needs to get packed and ready for her trip back to Charleston tomorrow starting bright and early.
