Another Cold, Wintery Day
Boy! Sometimes I think winter is never going to end. It was very cold today and snowy. It didn't snow much, but just enough to make the roads kind of treacherous. Oh, actually, it was kind of a whiteout over in American Fork when I dropped Richard off. But then I got out of that and it wasn't snowing quite so much in Orem. I went by Albertson's for some fresh baked French bread (it was after 4:00 and they're supposed to have fresh, hot French bread at 4:00), but the baker said she wasn't even going to put it in for an hour. So I got some not-so-fresh French bread to have with our leftover spaghetti for dinner tonight. The bread was good even though it wasn't fresh. It's always nice when Steven can be home in the evening and we can have dinner here together. When Tiffany called she said it was cooooooold in Charleston. I had looked at the weather there this morning on the internet and it said 1 degree, feels like -7 degrees. Brrrrrrrrr. That's cold! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm ready for winter to be over. I guess Lindy is, too, since she's taken to eating beef and barley soup for breakfast these days.

I have a solution for you, Lindy, and Tiff: South Carolina! You could all come down here for a winter retreat. You think I'm joking but I'm being serious!
